MEET ME

Hi there, I’m Sabine Wiesel.

I’m a freelance beauty and lifestyle journalist, content specialist and copywriter. I have over 14 year’s experience working for print and digital lifestyle magazines, as well as newspaper platforms. I specialise in beauty but have also written on subjects including health, travel, fashion and home.

Working my way up the editorial ladder at Hearst Magazines UK from an assistant to Beauty Editor, I worked for some of the best-selling lifestyle magazines. These include many years as Prima’s Beauty Editor, and then Beauty Editor of the Lifestyle Team (Prima, Good Housekeeping and Red). From turning original ideas into engaging features to directing still life, model and reader shoots, I know not only how to write engaging copy but how to make it come alive too.

Currently, I’m freelance with bylines in print and on digital titles such as The Independent, Evening Standard, and Hearst Magazines UK. I’ve also worked with brands, from luxury skincare 111skin to airlines including Virgin Atlantic.
